Transferring Your Application

If you applied to another MBA program at Haas for Fall 2025, your application fee is waived. 

To get started:

• Please submit the Application Transfer Form that you received by email. If you do not have the link to this form, please email us at ewmbaadm@haas.berkeley.edu.

• Submit the following items to your application portal before the application deadline for the round in progress when you have your application transferred:
  
  
  • Required Application Transfer Essay(s).
    • Please submit a statement explaining why you are now interested in attending the EWMBA Program. (300 word limit)
      
      
    • If you are applying from outside the Bay Area, please submit an additional essay to help us understand how you plan to attend the program. Please include information on your employment plans, including if you plan to relocate or commute. (250 word limit)
  • Optional essay. Is there any information that would be helpful to the EWMBA Admissions Committee?

• • Official Transcripts. We require copies from all institutions you have attended or are currently attending. However, we only require official or original transcripts from the institution where you were awarded your bachelor's degree. Please have your official transcripts emailed directly to ewmbaadm@haas.berkeley.edu by the issuing institution if you did not have them sent with your previous application.

• • Optional Application Updates. Any updates to your application since your last submitted application. For example, a job change or additional training.

• • Video Interview. Applicants will complete two short video questions. One question will be based on your desire to attend Haas and the other will give us a chance to get to know you better. For each question, you will have 1-2 minutes of response time. After you submit your application, you will receive a link to complete the video interview within 48 hours. After you receive the link you have SEVEN days to complete the video interview.

You will not need to:

• Submit all your application materials again
• Re-send your official GMAT/GRE/EA scores
• Re-send your unofficial academic transcripts
• Pay the $200 application fee
