At Berkeley Haas, veterans find a tight-knit, strong community. We often hear that our culture, founded on our four Defining Leadership Principles: Question the Status Quo, Confidence Without Attitude, Beyond Yourself, and Students Always, resonate with students who have served in the armed forces.
Pursuing an MBA in our Evening & Weekend Program gives you not only the business acumen to complement and extend your leadership skills, but also robust financial aid and the opportunity to engage with our highly active Veterans Club.
Financial Aid for Veterans and Military Members
Because we are part of a public university, the Berkeley MBA is among a small number of top MBA programs that offer veterans and active military the best possible way to use your Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits.
Depending on your qualifying length of service, you can obtain funding for up to 100% of resident assessed tuition and fees, a monthly housing allowance, and an annual book stipend of up to $1,000.
You also may qualify for an application fee waiver, saving $200. Complete your application, but instead of submitting the application fee, complete and submit the Application Fee Waiver form. You will hear back from us in two business days on your eligibility for the waiver.
We also are proud to participate in the VA's Yellow Ribbon Program, offering matching funds to U.S. military veterans with at least 36 months of service, and who qualify for 100% of the Post-9/11 GI Bill benefit. The program funds any gap in tuition and fees not already covered by the VA or other fee-specific award.
