Reapplicants
Reapplying to the Berkeley Haas Evening & Weekend MBA Program
If you have submitted an application to a Berkeley MBA program within the last two years, you are considered a reapplicant. If your application was incomplete or withdrawn, you are not considered a reapplicant.
Reapplicants are required to complete and submit all portions of the online application, including an additional reapplicant essay, unless otherwise specified below.
Be sure to use the same email address you used in your previous application when creating your new application.
Please answer the following Reapplicant Essay question. You are NOT required to submit new versions of either Essay #1 or Essay #2. However, if you feel that rewriting one or both of these essays would provide additional insight that would strengthen your candidacy, we invite you to do so.
Reapplicant Essay:
Please submit a statement explaining how you have improved your candidacy since your last application. If you requested feedback during a Reapplicant Advising Session from the admissions team, we are looking for how you specifically addressed the points shared. If you have previously applied to one of our other Berkeley MBA Programs, please help us understand why you are now interested in attending the EWMBA Program. (Up to 300 words)
We require a new or updated letter of recommendation.
If your previous application’s exams are still valid, we do not require you to reorder official score reports unless you are submitting new test results. If you would like to submit new test scores, please submit an official score report to the EWMBA Admissions office using the following codes:
- GMAT: N2V-PT-16
- GRE: 7884
- EA: N2V-PT-16
- TOEFL: 4833-02
For the TOEFL or IELTS, you must submit new scores if your test was taken before June 2023. If your GMAT, GRE, or EA exam predates the October 2019 cutoff, you will be required to take the test again.
While we do accept scores as old as October 2019, these scores must also be verifiable with the testing agency. The testing agencies keep the scores for five years from the date the test was taken so you must submit your official scores to us directly from the testing agency prior to them expiring.
If you have retaken the GMAT, GRE, EA, or TOEFL, ask the Educational Testing Service to forward the new official scores to the Evening & Weekend Berkeley MBA Program using the codes above. You will also need to log on to your online application and self-report your new score in the Test Score section.
You will need to submit unofficial transcripts for any new coursework completed since your prior application.
You will not need to re-submit any official transcripts previously submitted. If you only submitted unofficial transcripts, you will need to submit official transcripts from the institution where you were awarded your bachelor's degree.
