Marjorie DeGraca

Executive Director of Admissions

Why Admissions?  When I took the Myers-Briggs assessment in business school, it said one of my perfect fit jobs was higher education. I laughed it off as my goal at that time was brand
management. Little did I know that I’d spend the majority of my career in higher education, particularly admissions, and that I’d love it. One of my favorite parts of admissions is getting to know the students – they are such interesting, diverse, and motivated individuals – and watching their tight-knit community form. I feel so lucky to be a small part of their journey. And, as a former brand manager, I’ve found that it’s always much easier to sell/represent a product you really believe in.

Jenny Clare

Senior Associate Director of Admissions

Why Admissions?  Graduate admissions is a second career for me. I worked for many years in brand management at General Mills after earning my MBA, then worked as a part-time marketing consultant while my kids were young. Through each stage, my degree has opened doors and enabled me to pave my own path. I switched to MBA admissions because I wanted to work with others navigating their MBA journey and help them realize how a Haas MBA will have a lifelong impact. It is so rewarding getting to know the talented professionals that apply to Haas and having a small role in helping them pursue their goals.

Rachel York

Associate Director of Admissions

Why Admissions? I love working in a place where I can be a support to prospective students as they imagine and set their goals. I joined the admissions team for Executive MBA after working for the Evening-Weekend MBA program as an academic advisor. In that role, I helped students learn the ins and outs of the Berkeley MBA program. Before working in higher education, I worked in the health insurance industry in sales and behavioral health managed care. Working at Haas is exciting because I get inspired everyday by our staff, faculty and students.

Anne Marie Gallagher

Associate Director of Admissions

Why Admissions? One of my favorite “Aha!” moments while earning my MBA was the immense value of strong organizational culture. I saw it working as a Strategy Management Consultant, and during years of Nonprofit work in education and healthcare while raising a family. MBA Admissions is the intersection of culture an access. Its an honor to read the stories that applicants share with us. It’s a privilege to help applicants – especially from unconventional backgrounds – gain access to an MBA education. I love the virtuous cycle of helping candidates meet their potential through earning an MBA, knowing they’ll change the world with it and leave us better for having known them.

Natalie Henrich

Associate Director of Admissions

Why Admissions? My pivot from IT consulting to marketing consumer brands was an exciting period of growth that was made possible due to the transformative power of the MBA. It also provided foundational knowledge as I continued to add to my toolkit in tech business development, education and admissions. It is a privilege to help professionals make those giant leaps in personal and professional growth. And it is truly rewarding to see the talent that comes through the gates of the Haas School of Business -  embracing our Defining Leadership Principles - and coming out as even stronger leaders who are making a positive impact in all areas of our community.
