Signature Experiences

We've designed four signature programs that bring your entire class together at pivotal moments in the program. Each experience builds on the others and on what you have learned to date. You lead, learn, innovate, and celebrate together.

WE Launch (required)

Evening & Weekend MBA Student Orientation

During this mandatory orientation weekend, you will be introduced to the case study method, meet the individuals who will support you throughout your academic and professional journey, and begin building connections with your classmates through team-building activities. This experience will equip you with the essential tools for success as you embark on your MBA studies. 

Mid Program Academic Retreat (required)

Academic retreat, typically hosted in Napa Valley

This weekend immersion is centered on the required core course, Business Communications in Diverse Work Environments. The course will be held offsite, typically at a resort in Napa Valley. Focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), it will equip you with the skills to become an effective, inclusive leader through modules on equity, inclusivity, the DEI framework, and conflict resolution. You will gain a set of practical tools to foster a more equitable workplace, enhancing your leadership capabilities to promote diversity and inclusion in today’s professional environment.

Re Launch (optional)

Reconnect and bond with your classmates

RE Launch offers an opportunity to kick off your second year in the program, building upon the momentum from WE Launch and helping you reflect on your academic, professional, and personal goals at Haas. For Flex students, the experience begins with an immersion day before the entire class comes together for meaningful engagement and in-person bonding across the Evening, Weekend, and Flex cohorts. As you enter your second year and begin selecting electives, networking with classmates from outside your cohort will enrich your learning experience and provide fresh perspectives to consider.

WE Lead (optional)

Weekend celebration and recap of your MBA experience

WE Lead is held offsite at one of many locations around the Bay Area and offers an opportunity for graduating students to come together as a class just before commencement. This final learning experience allows you to forge lasting connections with your classmates, culminating in an Awards Banquet and celebration party to honor your achievements and create memories that will last a lifetime.
