Admissions

Each year, we enroll a high-performing class, with students coming to the Berkeley part-time MBA program from a variety of industries and bringing a broad range of perspectives. They are students who will add to the richness of the classroom experience and engage in the Haas community.

We admit candidates with professional experience that demonstrates potential for a career in senior management, and whose attributes and experience suggest leadership, maturity, ethical character, teamwork, and goal orientation.

COVID-19: Extended Deadline

Given the worldwide disruptions caused by COVID-19, we know that it has been a challenging time for everyone. We have opened an extended deadline of May 26, 2020 to assist candidates who have been delayed in completing their application due to their inability to take the GMAT/GRE/EA , difficulty in obtaining letters of recommendation, or other set backs. Candidates who submit applications for this application deadline will receive decisions on June 24, 2020.

The Educational Testing Service announced that an online version of the GRE and TOEFL is available starting March 23rd.  The Graduate Management Admissions Council has also announced that an online version of the GMAT exam will be available in mid-April and the Executive Assessment will be available online by the end of April.  (Note: you may submit the Executive Assessment exam for the Evening Weekend program if you have more that 8 years of work experience as of August 2020)  Berkeley Haas will accept the online version of all of these exams.
