Evening & Weekend Berkeley MBA Program

Reapplicants

If you have submitted an application to one of the Berkeley MBA Programs within the last two years, you are considered a reapplicant.* Please refer to the instructions below as there are different requirements based on the year you applied.

* If your application was incomplete or withdrawn, you are not considered a reapplicant.

Reapplicants who applied for Fall 2017 to any Berkeley MBA Program

If you already have an admissions decision from the other Berkeley MBA Program, no action is required on your application. If your application is still under review, you need to withdraw your application by contacting the Berkeley MBA for Executives admissions office at 510-643-1046 or mbaforexecs@haas.berkeley.edu or the Full-Time MBA admissions office at 510-642-1405 or mbaadm@haas.berkeley.edu.

If you would like to use the same email address as used in your other Berkeley MBA application, please contact the respective office to decouple your email address; this will allow you to create a new account for Evening & Weekend. When you are notified that your email has been decoupled, you may create a new login account to apply to the EWMBA program using the separate EWMBA online application.

You should complete all sections of the online application with the following exceptions:

    • Application Fee: Is waived. Please contact us at ewmbaadm@haas.berkeley.edu when you are ready to submit your application.
    • Short Answer/Essay: Only the Reapplicant Essay is required. Please also use this question to explain why the EWMBA Program is now a better fit for you. You may submit answers for the other essay questions as well, but they are optional.
    • Letters of Recommendation: We do not require any new letters.
    • Transcripts: If you’ve already submitted official transcripts, we do not require you to resend them. However, please submit transcripts for any new coursework you would like evaluated.
    • Test scores: If your previous application's test scores are still valid, we do not require you to reorder official score reports unless you are submitting new scores. If so, please submit an official score report to the EWMBA Admissions Office at code N2V-PT-16 (GMAT), 7884 (GRE) or 4833-02 (TOEFL).
      • For the TOEFL or IELTS, you must submit new scores if your test was taken before June 2015.
      • If your previous application's GMAT/GRE score is no longer valid due to the October 2011 deadline, please contact our office to discuss a waiver. You can reach our office at ewmbaadm@haas.berkeley.edu.

Updating any additional application materials is optional, although the Admissions Committee does note the effort that candidates put into their reapplication.

*If you have already applied more than once to the Evening & Weekend Berkeley MBA Program, you must complete a full application and follow the instructions below for “Fall 2015 Applicants”.
