The Evening & Weekend MBA Program makes the academic experience convenient and accessible for working professionals.
Our part-time MBA schedule options allow you to work while pursuing your education and expanding your network. Students typically complete their studies in 3 years, but can do so in as little as 2.5 years. Classes are held primarily in the fall and spring semesters, but approximately 15 elective courses are also available each summer, with other activities year round.
Take core classes on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a 45-minute break. When you begin taking elective courses, you'll find them offered Monday through Thursday. A free shuttle is available from select South Bay and Peninsula locations for evening classes.
Take core classes on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the first three semesters in the program, and then elective courses from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during your last three semesters. There are two 15-minute class breaks and one 60-minute break for a catered lunch. Easy access from freeways and airports makes the weekend option convenient, especially if you live outside the Bay Area.
For the first half of the program, you'll take core courses online from wherever is convenient for you. Online classes will be a mix of live and on-demand. You'll join online at a set time each week – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – for about half of your coursework. The rest will be completed on your own time. When you begin taking elective courses, you can either continue to attend online or come to campus for in-person instruction. If you choose to complete your electives online, you’re only required to be in person for three signature weekend events, strategically scheduled throughout the course of the program (with two additional optional in-person events). This option allows you to gain the same high-quality MBA without the commute and allows for better work/life balance.
