All candidates are required to take the GMAT, GRE, or EA* exam. These tests may be taken up to two weeks after the posted application deadline for the round in which you are applying. If you are unable to take the GMAT/GRE/EA during this time, please contact our office, as we process special requests for additional time on a case-by-case basis.
If you are planning to take the exam after you submit your application (either your first attempt or retaking an exam), please make sure you enter your future test date in your application, and email a copy of your unofficial score report to our office as soon as possible after the exam. All applications without an unofficial test score will be considered incomplete, and we cannot guarantee a decision by the posted notification deadline for incomplete applications.
*In addition to the GMAT or GRE, applicants with 8 or more years of work experience as of the start of the fall semester may take the Executive Assessment (EA) instead.
Remember that test scores are just one part of your application, and there is no minimum score required.
For Fall 2022 admission, we accept official scores only from exams taken on or after October 1, 2016. Berkeley Haas keeps test score reports on file for two years only.
You may send us your exam results using the following institution codes:
NOTE: It is the applicant's responsibility to notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org of new test scores and/or future exam dates for consideration.
