Private Loans
For those students wanting to borrow more than $20,500 per year, there are many supplemental sources of funding available; however, all of these loan options are credit-based.
It is recommended
that you obtain copies of your credit reports and
clear up any discrepancies before applying for a
private loan. The phone numbers for the three major
credit bureaus are:
Equifax 800.685.1111
Experian 800.311.4769
TransUnion 800.888.4213

International
Students and Private Loans
International
students (including those on an H1-B visa) can apply
for private loans with with or without a creditworthy US citizen
or US permanent resident as a co-signer. Loan terms
are better if you have a co-signer, depending on
creditworthiness. You must accept admission to Haas
before applying for a private loan and funds can
only be used for study at Haas. The Haas School
offers three no co-signer private loan programs to
EWMBA international students in 2006-2007:

on the available loan programs, including a comparison chart and application instructions, click here.
Important: Private loan programs are reauthorized
on an annual basis by the lender so Haas cannot
guarantee their availability beyond 2006-2007. The
terms are subject to change.
